BELGIAN & FRENCH BUSINESS LAW
Since the creation of the firm, business law has been at the center of our preoccupations. Over the years, the firm has consistently worked for loyal customers, active in an ever-increasing number of sectors, and in particular textile, chemistry, construction, energy and more recently crypto assets.
Our team creates companies, negotiates contracts, helps to manage labor contract issues, concretizes takeovers and acquisitions. But we are also present when times are more complicated and activities must be stopped.
Further, some of our collaborators are specialized in white collar crime issues, and others in
GDPR and in intellectual property issues.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS LAW
We are thankful to our clients to have brought us to the world of international business. Off course, it must be mentioned that we started our practice in areas of EU law such as competition, customs and dumping, which are, by nature, international.
However, international trade is a world apart where both investments, contracts and company structures obey to particular codes and rules. With the time, our office became more and more present in these areas, and helped resolve difficult transnational problems and create efficient international structures of companies.
On the other hand, Me Grisay has been very active in investment arbitration, notably at ICSID level.
In the recent years, our activity in MENA countries in particular, has increased.
In the near future, we plan to be more active in investment projects, thanks to a major participation in the “DealFox” program.

EUROPEAN LAW AND COMPETITION
Since its creation, GL&C has been working in major files of European law ranging from the mad cow case to the Cypriot haircut case.
We have defended private parties, companies, EU servants, the Commission and even the Belgian state, in all types of procedures, not only in front of the ECJ, but also in front of ordinary courts, both in Belgium, and in France.
We have made countless publications among which a guide to the procedure in front of the ECJ (Anthemis).
But we have also been active in the EU, French and Belgian competition field. We have defended very interesting cases in France and Belgium.
We are the authors of the sole comprehensive monography on Belgian competition law (Larcier).
Finally, we have been working on EU funding files for companies and universities from many a country.
